Dear Citizen,
Welcome to Egypt in eRepublik!
You have made your first step by becoming a citizen of our country. This is one of the youngest and most exciting countries in the New World!
Battles are raging all around us and we need your help. What makes this game so unique is that you can step in right away and make a difference. This
game also offers you a wide variety of paths to choose from to make the game fun for yourself. You may choose to become a politician gaining
fame from around the world for your excellence in dealing with a variety of issues. You may choose to become active in the media gaining the
attention and praise of your fellow citizens. You may also choose to make your home on the battlefield becoming feared by citizens around the
world and eventually becoming a Battle Hero.
Those are just a few of the paths you can choose. What makes the game special is that there is no right or wrong path, you simply play the
game the way you want to. Enough talk for now, I am sure you are ready to start playing.

Welcome to eRepublik of Egypt, brave young democracy!
You couldn’t have come at a better moment. We are currently a young country with great opportunities for new players, with great challenges ahead of us, and great dangers around us. Although eEgypt is putting a lot of efforts in building good relationships with all our neighbors, some countries in our neighborhood want our natural resources. However, we have also friendly countries and allies, both in distant lands and in the neighborhood. eBrazil, eCroatia and eSaudi Arabia are the countries which are our friends and allies. In eRepublik we create eHistory, which is sometimes very different from RL history.
This game is not a sprint, it is a marathon. You may play it for just 10 minutes a day or you can spend hours in it, but in any case, it can offer you great time, or even a parallel life. I hope that you are going to have great fun and make a lot of friends.
In this game you have many possibilities. It all depends on you: will you become a mighty soldier, and then a respectable officer, or even a charismatic leader; or you will become a businessman, who recognizes opportunities, invests, takes risks, produces products which are wanted in the markets, who owns a lot of companies, and hires tens or even hundreds of people; or will you become a politician, a worker of the party, then a congressman, and some day even the country president, who makes important decisions of war and peace, of economy and law; or will you become a well known journalist, who is creative, who communicates with society through articles, who recognizes the problems and solutions of the country, who feels how people breathe, and influence public opinion, and become a media mogul with a lot of subscribers.
You have a chance to become all that together, according to your preferences and make your mark in eHistory.
We need every citizen we can get, so we can become a strong and respected country, even to rise to a great superpower! So, if you like it, invite your friends and spread the word, for eEgypt and eWorld could become a better place and practice for the real life!
One more important thing: this may look as a simple game, but, there is more than this what you can see. Most of the communication is done behind the game, behind its interface - on IRC, where you will meet some great people.
